Gut healing gummies

These gummies are so good and are just like eating healthy sweets (like there is such a thing). I like using a mould to set them as they look really appetising. An ice cube tray also work well, as does a glass container; you can then just cut into delicious squares of gut healing goodness.

Ingredients

2 cups of kombucha- any flavour

½  cup Nutra Organics natural gelatin- use only grass fed

1 tbsp rice malt syrup

½  cup of frozen blueberries

Method

Add ½  cup of the kombucha along with the gelatine to a saucepan. Allow to ‘bloom’. This takes around 5 minutes and gelatine will expand and become rubbery.

Add rice malt syrup and blueberries.

Turn on low heat and stir until the gelatin dissolves. (Add a little more kombucha if needed)

Remove from heat and stir through remaining kombucha.

If needed use a stick blender to purée.

Transfer to a pouring jug with a small spout and pour into moulds or a baking dish.

Place gently in the fridge until set and pop-out when firm if in a mould or cut into bite-size slices.

Store in the fridge for a week at most- so eat them up quick.
